We welcomed two new acquisitions to our Outdoor Living Family of Companies!

June 3, 2022, we announced Outdoor Living Supply had acquired The Rock Garden, an independent distributor of natural stone, hardscapes, and architectural elements such as mantles and hand-hewn stone furniture. The acquisition extends the OLS platform into California and strengthens our regional presence in the Lake Tahoe market.

Based in Truckee, California, The Rock Garden was founded in 1998 and is a division of Marsh Ventures, Inc. The Rock Garden is the premier natural stone supplier to the North Lake Tahoe and Truckee markets. Their high-quality product offering and commitment to their customers has made The Rock Garden the first choice of local architects, contractors, and homeowners.

July 12, 2022, we announced Outdoor Living Supply had acquired Norristown Brick, an independent distributor of masonry, landscape, and hardscape materials to Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and the surrounding area. This acquisition further strengthens OLS's presence in the mid-Atlantic market.

Based in Norristown, Pennsylvania, Norristown Brick was founded in 1986 with the goal of providing a comprehensive selection of quality hardscaping and masonry materials to its customers. A third-generation business, the Company has been grown by the Lyons and Swire families into a leading regional supplier with 13 full-time employees, servicing both commercial and residential markets. Russell Lyons will continue to lead the business going forward, ensuring continuity and consistency for customer and supplier partners.

PTO is coming! OLS is excited to announce that we are improving our benefit related to paid vacation and sick time.  We are merging these two benefits into one new pool of time called Paid Time Off (PTO), and most employees will enjoy an increase in the total amount of paid time off!  Employees will now accrue a few hours of PTO each payroll throughout the year, up to your annual amount.  Employees will no longer forfeit unused paid time off, as it will now be carried over into a new calendar year. Your new PTO balance will show on the August 12 paycheck.  Please reference the new OLS PTO policy for details and reach out to HR with any questions.

August is bringing new benefits to all full-time employees! OLS will be providing Short-Term Disability insurance for all employees as of August 1.  The company is also improving the Long-Term Disability and the Life insurance program as well.  Just in case life doesn’t go as planned, we want to provide some financial protection for you and your family. Disability insurance will provide 60% of your wages, and life insurance will be provided equal to your annual wages.

Meet the team from May's Lawn Care & Landscaping we are sponsoring at the Hardscape North America Installer Championship!
